The Municipal Works Directorate (DOM) announced the start of the second phase of the drinking water project in Jiquilisco, Usulután, which will benefit more than 2,000 inhabitants in this municipality.
This phase includes the equipment of wells and the installation of the water resource distribution network, which will allow the families of the Gaviota 1 and 2, Palo Seco, María Antonieta and Los Lobos hamlets to have a decent service, putting an end to the precarious conditions of not having access to drinking water in their homes.
With this project, the Government of El Salvador continues to reaffirm its commitment to improving the quality of life of the population of Jiquilisco, providing a solution to a problem that was never addressed in previous administrations.
There will be more than 2,000 people benefiting from these hamlets who will leave behind these inhumane conditions of not having drinking water in their homes.🚰
We are going to make this project a reality that has never been done in the past.👌 pic.twitter.com/9bvtcrkmmA
