More than 170,000 liters of water were distributed to indigenous communities in Chaco

Asuncion, IP Agency.- In the town of Filadelfia, Paraguayan Chaco, the Ministry of Public Works distributed a total of 92,000 liters of drinking water to the indigenous communities of June 10, Amistad, Jesubi and Santo Domingo.

In the city of Mariscal Estigarribia, similar transfers were made to indigenous communities such as Laguna Negra, Primavera, Noé, Comunidad 220, Santa Teresita and Campo Loa. There, 76,000 more liters were distributed to help 45 families.

Through its local district, the Ministry of Public Works carried out the task of supplying water with tanker trucks, aimed at alleviating the lack of access to the resource in vulnerable areas while working on a sustainable solution.

These actions reaffirm the commitment of the MOPC to the well-being of the most remote Chaco populations, in its role of guaranteeing basic conditions for all Paraguayans.

The Ministry of Public Works and Communications, through its different districts located in each department of the country, not only works to improve the transitability of roads, but also carries out humanitarian work according to the requirements of the local emergency.
