Total number of surgeries of all types: 7,291 emergency surgeries, an increase of 3.3% compared to the same period during Tet Quy Mao 2023; of which the number of emergency surgeries is 1,908, an increase of 11% compared to 2023.
Total number of successful births and cesarean sections: 7,680, an increase of 9.6% compared to the same period of Tet Quy Mao 2023.
Total number of patients discharged from the hospital: 73,092 patients, an increase of 8.2% compared to the same period of Tet Quy Mao 2023.
Regarding traffic accidents, the Ministry of Health said that during the 4-day Tet holiday, there were 9,920 medical examinations and emergency cases due to traffic accidents, down 14.4% compared to the same period during the Tet holiday of 2023. There were 55 emergency cases of accidents caused by homemade weapons and explosives, 24 cases required hospitalization for monitoring treatment.
Regarding the food poisoning situation, the Ministry of Health said, according to information from the national food safety system and mass media, from February 8, 2024 to February 11, 2024. , nationwide, no food poisoning cases have been recorded.
