More than 1000 medical gowns for the Bendjé regional hospital –

To improve hospital conditions for patients, the Bendjé regional hospital has acquired 1,000 lab coats (medical gowns), including 200 for pediatrics and 800 for adults.

“We keep our promise today!” You receive 1,000 smocks and from now on the sick will be clothed. Once finished, you leave with your clothes. We hope that everyone will embrace our vision of improving the living conditions of patients”hopes director Dr Jonas Mboumba.

With a capacity of more than 200 beds for patients, this new acquisition, in addition to the 2,000 pairs of sheets recently received, aims to make patient internment conditions optimal. This outfit is indeed of capital importance in improving hygiene practices, and in strategies to combat infections in healthcare environments.

According to Dr. Mboumba, “we ordered 2,000 pairs of sheets to cover the entire hospital because there were almost no sheets left on the majority of beds in the hospital.”

In the global context of the increasing prevalence of ‘multi’ or even ‘ultra’ bacteria resistant to antibiotic treatments, many policies recommend the implementation of effective infection prevention and control (IPC) measures. to the hospital. It is with this in mind that these coats will be washed as required by good hygiene practices in terms of health.
