As Ukraine regained control of the capital, more and more evidence of brutal killings by the Russian army was found around Kiev. The Ukrainian Prosecutor General said that more than 1,200 bodies have been found around Kyiv, such as those found along a road. White House National Security Adviser Sullivan warned that Russia’s newly appointed commander Dvornikov might launch a more brutal attack on Ukraine.
The woman shouted incoherently and excitedly, no matter how the people around her blocked her, she mightn’t get her to stand up properly.
The police and firefighters worked together to pull out the cold body of the woman’s father from the well, another brutal massacre by the Russian army.
Dmitrivka village head Zabaruk: “They (the Russian army) tortured the people and threw them into the water. You can see where they dropped them. There is no other way to describe the animals and beasts.”
One following another, the bodies are all innocent people who were killed. The horror scene not only happened in the village of Buzova, west of Kyiv, Ukraine, but also found dead bodies in the ditch in neighboring towns.
Dmitrivka village head Zabaruk Berezivka: “From Berezovka to Dmitrivka, there were more than 50 bodies, and they (Russian troops) approached the people at close range. Shooting, a 17-year-old child was burned to death in the car leaving wreckage, and a woman was blown off with half of her head. Yesterday (4/9) the Ukrainian government dug up the people and sent them back here.”
The windows of the apartments affected by the bombing fell, and there were broken glass and bloodstains of the people along the stairwell.
Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova: “This morning (4/10) in the Kyiv region, we have the actual number, 1,222 bodies were found this morning alone.”
The Ukrainian government has repeatedly accused the Russian army of genocide, because on Sunday, outside a church in Butcha, a new mass grave was found with the faces of the victims dug up from the ground.
Fr Golovin of Boucha Church: “There is a mass grave right next to the church, temporary burial of civilians killed by shelling on the city roads or by bullying and torture”.
The mass graves inside and outside the church are like two worlds. Ukrainians who have survived the war with great difficulty sing hymns and worship in the church, not only praying for the deceased, but also looking forward to ending the nightmare brought by Russia as soon as possible.
