More than 100 people board a Ryanair plane, limited to 98 seats: “Those who had no place remained standing”

It is a complicated period that Ryanair is going through at the moment. Between strikes and last-minute cancellations, passengers no longer know what sauce they will be eaten.

This Monday, July 25, several passengers on a flight from Charleroi to Comiso, in Sicily, had a new bad experience: there were no more seats on the plane!

When the plane was ready to take off, 106 people were on board while it only had 98 seats…

“People who didn’t have room stayed up, we were stuck like that for an hour”tells a passenger to our colleagues from Sudinfo.

Following this misunderstanding, the travelers were told that they had to disembark and board once more on another plane, which might dispose of the 106 people present. “We all went down to the tarmac, we stayed outside, it was hot, we didn’t have a glass of water. […] We took off more than two hours late.fumes the passenger.

Ryanair did not communicate on this incident.
