More job opportunities, the Prime Minister’s message
 – 2024-04-30 05:28:09

The prime minister referred to the government’s main priorities aimed at reducing unemployment and increasing wages during his visit to the 30th “Career Day” organized by the Public Employment Service in the port of Piraeus with a focus on “the blue economy”.

“The Public Employment Service plays a decisive role, not only with actions such as Career Days but also through training and retraining programs, through the DYPA apprenticeship schools, so that we can offer, especially to our young fellow citizens, more opportunities of work and above all more stable, well-paid jobs”, pointed out the prime minister.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis took a tour of the stands, spoke with representatives of more than 70 companies that participated in the initiative looking for staff for over 1,000 jobs in the Shipping and Marine Tourism sectors, as well as with interested parties to whom he said: “I am very happy for the efforts you, we need new guys in the industry. Shipping also pays very well.”

ND is in full mobilization ahead of the European elections

The prime minister as well as ministerial and party levels are in a “fever” of tours investing in direct contact with the citizens.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis sent a new message ahead of the Eurocalp from Drosia, Attica, where he met citizens, shortly following his highly symbolic joint appearance with Archbishop Hieronymos.

“The stronger we are, the more momentum and determination we will implement our pre-election program and we will run even further to be able to improve the everyday life of each and every one. All the parties have in some way formed themselves once morest New Democracy with a single agenda, there is no other agenda: how New Democracy will weaken, how Mitsotakis will be less powerful. So we tell them: we are lifting this glove and in the elections we will send a message of stability, consistency and continuity.

Mr. Mitsotakis’ message is the “deconstruction of the far-right apartment building by saying no to division”.

“To build a rampart once morest those who in the most obscene way plunder the Christian faith, as if some are more Christian than others. These are unacceptable things, which divide the Greeks, especially at a time when, despite our differences, we must all be united (..) We may disagree, but we will neither curse nor beat our opponents to pieces. These are not behaviors that suit a democracy,” he stressed.

Stability or adventure is the dilemma posed by the prime minister ahead of the European elections, speaking of a crucial contest and highlighting the European agenda:

Immigrant
New Recovery Fund
Defense
Common Agricultural Policy
Demographic

The prime minister also gives national characteristics to the Euro-election so that the political affiliations do not change and the government continues with the same reforming momentum.

Responding to the Kasselakis criticism, government sources spoke of slander, arrogance and apolitical populism and additionally state: “Each of his interviews “costs” 10-15 billion more for the Greek taxpayers based on the new benefits he announces.
He has lost count, surpassing even the times when SYRIZA would change Europe with the results known to all of us”.
