Recent unsettling discoveries along the local coastline have sparked concern, particularly due to their proximity to where two fishermen disappeared earlier this week. Authorities are currently investigating these findings, but thay have emphasized that there is no immediate connection being drawn between the discoveries and the missing boaters. Speaking to the press, Captain Aaron Belda of the Rancho Palos Verdes Estates Police Department explained the circumstances surrounding the findings.”Our beaches are typically rocky,” he stated. “It’s my understanding that [the leg] was located at the shoreline but atop some rocks. At this time,we’re not ruling anything out. We’re considering all possibilities,but we don’t have any reason to believe the two are connected.” As the investigation progresses, authorities are urging anyone with information related to these incidents to come forward. **detective Miller:** As you mentioned, on Christmas Day, a human leg was discovered on the beach. This understandably caused concern. Subsequently, another leg was found on December 27th, and just yesterday, a search party recovered a femur.

**Detective Miller:** At this time, we cannot definitively say if these incidents are related.
