More classified US documents were found in his home

The discovery of classified documents in the private properties of the president of United States, Joe Biden, promises to corner him more and more. This Saturday, more papers were found in the president’s house in addition to those registered in one of the offices he used when he was vice president of Barack Obama and those subsequently reported at his Delaware residence.

The White House, which is confident that the investigation opened into this case will show that the documents were accidentally lost, confirmed this Saturday that at least five more documents were found in the Biden family home in Delaware.

The White House counsel Richard Sauber reported in a statement that six confidential pages have been found, one that was notified on Wednesday, and the other five when they were transferred to the Department of Justice for investigation.

“While I was transferring them to Justice Department officials accompanying me, an additional five pages with markings of classified material were discovered among the material, for a total of six pages,” Sauber explained.

Total, six pages have been found at this residence with a classified document mark. Sauber clarified that the president’s personal lawyers are not authorized to review classified papers, so when they found the flagged documents they stopped the search and did not review them.

Although it has not yet been reported what kind of information these documents contain, what has come out is that it corresponds to the period in which Biden was Vice President of the United States (2009-2017).

For the time being, US Attorney General Merrick Garland has appointed a special prosecutor to lead the investigation. “I intend to follow the facts quickly and thoroughly, without fear or favor, and I will honor the trust placed in me to perform this service,” said prosecutor Robert Hur.

To try to explain the shadow of doubt that hangs over this case, Biden said in a statement Thursday that he is fully cooperating with the Justice Department review. “Let me talk regarding all of this, and by the way, my Corvettes are in a locked garage, not on the street. But as I said earlier this week, people know that I take classified material seriously,” he said.
