U21 team boss Werner Gregoritsch will have to do without another four squad players in the European Championship qualifiers once morest Croatia on Friday and once morest Norway on March 29. With Yusuf Demir (Rapid), Marlon Mustapha (Admira) and Luca Kronberger (Sturm Graz), an offensive trio is missing, and Rapid defender Jonas Auer is also not available.
An Altach duo is now replacing the Rapid duo, the two debutants Felix Strauss (midfield) and Noah Bischof (attack). Stefan Skrbo (WSG Tirol/midfield) and Vincent Trummer (Sturm Graz/defense) are also traveling to the team.
Gregoritsch is still relaxed regarding the personnel situation before the last chance games: “There are currently a lot of young players who are showing strong performances at their clubs. Of course, as the U21 team boss, I’m very happy regarding that. I think we have a good mix of experienced and young players in the squad.”
