The second quarter-final between Sparta and Liberec reached the second half, when Spartan defender Michal Moravčík was left motionless in the corner following a rough foul by Liberec’s Oscar Flynn. After a few minutes, he was taken away on a stretcher and headed to the hospital in an ambulance. “His condition is stable,” Sparta reassured in a statement. However, following the intervention, the mela broke down between the substitutions and five players headed to the showers prematurely.
