Asuncion, IP Agency.- The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) is carrying out repairs on departmental route D037 that connects Emboscada with Nueva Colombia, in the department of Cordillera, thus responding to requests from the population.
The works, which include patching and asphalt levelling, are being carried out by the Road Maintenance Department through the Itauguá Asphalt Plant. It is estimated that the interventions will continue today and extend over the weekend.
The section to be improved on route D037 extends to its intersection with the Luque – San Bernardino departmental route, also known as “Ecovía”.
The main objective of this work is to improve the conditions of the road and increase road safety by eliminating the potholes that were hampering traffic in the area. This will result in a significant improvement in the travel experience for drivers and motorcyclists who use this road.
The local community welcomed the news of the start of these works, as once completed, it will be possible to travel more comfortably along this important section.
Users are also advised to be alert to ongoing work and follow the instructions of MOPC staff to ensure safety during the repair process.
