A thorough investigation found that the moon’s inner core is, in fact, a solid ball with a density comparable to that of iron; According to “Science Alert”, a team led by astronomer Arthur Brioud of the French National Center for Scientific Research wrote that “our results” question the evolution of the moon’s magnetic field thanks to its showing the presence of the inner core and its support for the global mantle reversal.
Scientists have come up with interesting results. One of them is that the core of the moon is very similar to the core of the Earth – an outer liquid layer and a solid inner core. The team found that the inner core has a density of regarding 7,822 kilograms per cubic meter, which is very close to the density of iron.
