Hundreds of people gathered late Tuesday in front of the American consulate in Montreal to express their support for Palestine.

The demonstrators, who chanted slogans such as “Free Palestine” and “Solidarity with Palestine,” were invited by a student association at McGill University.

On Facebook, “Solidarity for Palestinian Human Rights McGill” deplored the attack on a hospital in Gaza.
The demonstration aims to demand an end to this “genocide which deliberately targets medical and civilian targets”.
“The bombs currently being launched in Gaza are American and our Canadian state has given the green light to this genocide,” proclaims the student organization.
