In a press release published on Wednesday, ADM explained that the objective of these measures, which will be deployed gradually by summer 2024, is to remove up to 700 vehicles per hour during peak periods towards the main landing stage of the airport.
Alternative landing stages
Two landing stages will be available to the east and west of the terminal and a shuttle service will be offered to travelers every five minutes. “These shuttles will take a route that will avoid congestion and the journey time will be approximately 5 minutes,” assured ADM.

Parking lots
Parking will be free for a limited period in all parking lots, ADM said.
In addition, a revision of the parking lot fee schedule “is underway for the next summer season.” The multi-level parking lot (P4) will open at the start of the year, which will add 2,800 spaces to the current offer.
Collective transportation
While the frequency of line 747 had already been increased by the Regional Metropolitan Transport Authority (ARTM) and the Société de transport de Montréal (STM), the ADM plans to deploy new direct connections with the site “soon”. airport to reduce the number of vehicles using access roads.
Also remember that work is underway on the REM station construction site. ADM hopes to complete its work in spring 2026 to then allow CDPQ Infra “to do what is necessary to connect the station to the rest of the network”. The first users will be able to use this sustainable mode of transport in 2027, assured ADM.
