Montpellier: an ACM employee is challenged by a tenant

The 44-year-old suspect was arrested. He is the subject of a summons to court (COPJ).

This ACM employee still cannot believe what happened to him this Friday, April 7, around 1:30 p.m., in the Mourvèdres alley in the Alco district. While he was quietly taking a break, he noticed that a tenant, installed on a balcony, was aiming at him with a rifle, before shouting at him.

Afraid of being targeted by a lunatic, he immediately took shelter and called the police. Arrived on the spot, the police proceeded to the arrest of the accused, aged 44, who offered no resistance.

Questioned in police custody, the person concerned admitted having a pellet gun lent by a friend before explaining that he had just used it not to target the ACM employee but to scare pigeons.

Released, he was summoned to court (COPJ) for violence with weapons. Note that the prosecution ordered the destruction of his rifle.
