Montigny-lès-Cormeilles: a new wooded area to discover

Do you know Parc Launay, located behind the Paul-Cézanne school, between rue Serge-Launay and rue du Général-de-Gaulle?

Accessible to young and old alike since Monday August 8 (every day from 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.), this park will be inaugurated on Sunday August 28 at 4 p.m.

On the program: artistic wanderings, musicians, games and a snack offered to children.

A playground of more than 1,000 square meters

“Parc Launay is a new green space open to the public. It is home to many trees and plant species, as well as a large playground of over 1000 m2 including two swings, a climbing block, a pyramid of ropes, a slide, as well as spring and balance games,” explains the municipality.

A painting party on August 27 and the inauguration on August 28

As a prelude to the inauguration of the park, the painting festival organized with the association Les couleurs de l’art, will take place in this green setting on Saturday August 27 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Children can register until August 26 (complete this form) and adults with the association Les couleurs de l’art. The public is invited to come and see their work throughout the day on Saturday!
