The associative radio CFM, installed until then on boulevard Garrisson, moved to 8 rue Léon-Cladel. Friday also coincided with the anniversary of the station, created in 1981 in Caylus. Since then, the radio has also been present in Rodez, Caylus and Cahors.
This move enabled CFM to organize the complete digital transformation of its Montalban studios with state-of-the-art equipment.
“This is the culmination of five years’ work, including three for the realization taking into account the Covid”, underlined Hugues de Vesins, president of CFM, in the presence of Jean-Marc Courrèges-Cénac, co-president of the Confederation. Nationale des Radios associatives, a body that brings together 82 associative services in France, representing some 300 jobs and 2,000 volunteers.
For the occasion, CFM organized a special program on the theme “How the digital transformation of CFM Montauban makes it possible to develop its cultural action and its city contract”, in the presence of Brigitte Barèges, mayor of Montauban.
