16.5 million euros might be invested for the purchase and installation of new machines. A refocusing on the motorcycle tire business which would be to the detriment of the light truck tire and scooter tire business. Two productions that would be transferred to another GoodYear site, but the whole, ensures the direction, with the maintenance of permanent jobs and the current organization in 3X8 and with weekend teams.

A project well received by the CFDT. Marc Argaud is a union representative at Dunlop Montluçon.

For its part, the CGT wished to wait to learn all the terms of the plan before deciding more precisely. The union is wondering in particular regarding the future of temporary workers.

This project might be completed within a year and a half, following the information-consultation procedure with employee representative bodies.
