Montana Aerospace inherits 43% of the compensation program from the former parent company

Scheduled for December 23, this transfer does not concern options already granted for the past financial year, nor those which must be granted at the end of the current one.

Montana Aerospace, an offshoot in 2021 of Montana Tech Components, will benefit from a transfer of up to 615,320 options included in the executive compensation program of its former parent company, or 43% of the total. Montana Aerospace will receive 1.9 million francs for this operation.

Scheduled for December 23, this transfer does not concern the options already granted for the past financial year, nor those which must be granted at the end of the current one, specifies a press release from the Aargau engineering group released on Friday.

The board of directors of the Reinach company has also decided to lower the exercise price of the options transferred to 18.00 francs, from 25.65 francs previously. The securities issued in exchange for the exercise of said options will in the future come from Montana Aerospace and no longer from Montana Tech Components.

The manufacturer of components and structures intended in particular for the aerospace industry explains that it is following the wish expressed at the general meeting for greater emancipation vis-à-vis what remains its majority shareholder.
