The aviation industry supplier Montana Aerospace, which is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange and owned by the Austrian majority owner Michael Tojner, has completed the takeover of the Belgian Asco Group that was announced six months ago. Montana announced this on Friday. Asco is also an aerospace supplier and employs around 1,100 people at four locations in Belgium, Germany, the USA and Canada.
In the years before the pandemic, Asco generated annual sales of up to EUR 260 million. Asco’s product range mainly includes large components and complex assemblies for fuselage, wing and landing gear components. The purchase price was not disclosed and was paid in cash and an allotment of 4,431,600 Montana Aerospace common shares.
