Monsoon rains stopped in Balochistan, 19 people died in various accidents – Pakistan

Monsoon rains have stopped in Balochistan, since July 20, 19 people including 9 children were killed and 11 were injured due to flooding and debris, while the areas of Kalat, Jhal Magsi, Ziarat and Sahabpur were more affected.

According to the Department of Meteorology, the weather is hot and humid in most parts of Balochistan, Kashmir, North-East Punjab, Potohar region, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, North-East Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan are likely to rain today.

The Meteorological Department said that there is another powerful Monsoon system in Northeast Balochistan which may cause more rains.

The Meteorological Department has predicted the possibility of rain in some places of Zhob, Barkhan, Musa Khel, Sherani, Loralai, Sibi, Ziarat, Lasbela, Kalat, Khuzdar and Naseerabad.

According to PDMA, during the last 24 hours, 48 ​​mm of rain was recorded in Kalat, 21 mm in Aosta Muhammad, 10 mm in Quetta.

According to PDMA, 3 more deaths occurred in Balochistan due to rains and flood rails, after which 19 people including 9 children and a woman died due to being swept away by flood water and lightning strikes since July 20, while monsoon 11 people including 10 children were injured during the rains.
