That comment was the one that caused Rincón’s questioning in the aforementioned social network. There the journalist declared: “Unusual that in the XXI century public actors like Warken follow equating machismo and feminism”.
Then the communicator clarified: “Feminism: seek equality = avoid bias” and the “machismo: perpetual inequality”, he explained.
“They are not equivalent. They are not two sides of the same unfair currency”, concluded Mónica Rincón regarding Warnken’s sayings.
However, his questions did not end there. In a new tweet, the journalist responded and specified some concepts regarding the same post.
“Obviously you can discuss whether it is good that the Gender Approach is enshrined in the Constitution and whether the concept is adequate (I think it is)” he said and then continued: “But equating machismo and feminism is going over 3 towns”
In another response tweet, the communicator clarified what she was referring to with the concept: “Gender approach in any area of life It’s not favoring womens but to avoid being harmed for being so. basically avoid machismo”.
