The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has sent a red warrant to the International Police for the arrest of Munis Elahi, the son of former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, in the case of money laundering, while the Special Central Court has sent Chaudhry Pervez Elahi to the next hearing. Judge Tanveer Ahmad Sheikh of the Special Central Court of Lahore has issued a written order for the previous hearing of the money laundering case against former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi and his son Monis Elahi and others.

The court order said that according to the FIA, a red notice has been sent to the International Police for the arrest of Chaudhry Munis Elahi, the accused named in the case, from abroad, which is with the International Police for review.

The court ordered Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Pervaiz Elahi to appear in court on November 5, while issuing a non-bailable arrest warrant for Monis Elahi’s co-accused, Zaigham Abbas.
