Money from the Corona fund for anti-Corona activist Rutter’s association

The request complied with the guidelines, said a spokesman for FPÖ State Councilor Christoph Luisser on Tuesday. A total of 6,850 applications worth 5.2 million euros have been submitted so far and 3.4 million euros have been paid out. The fund is endowed with 31.3 million euros.

On the website of the Association for Vaccination Victims there is an invitation for an information event on May 5th in Leobendorf (Korneuburg district) as well as the note: “Our event is supported by the state of Lower Austria.” A “doctor with experience in vaccination injuries” and a lawyer will act as speakers at the “lecture for vaccine victims and long-Covid victims,” and support will also be offered for funding applications for the Corona relief fund. The chairman of the association is Martin Rutter. The Carinthian ex-politician is considered an anti-Corona activist and opponent of the measures.

No money has flowed yet

The association for vaccination victims has asked for support for events, but no money has been received yet, explained Luisser’s spokesman. The state department is responsible for processing. In order for the funding to be paid out, invoices and proof of payment must be submitted. The spokesperson noted that who is responsible for the association is not an issue in the guidelines.

The Lower Austrian Covid relief fund for corona consequences, launched by Schwarz-Blue, started in the summer of the previous year with the reimbursement of Covid fines. From September 1, 2023 until the end of February 2025, Lower Austrians can submit applications, for example, with regard to therapies for psychological problems, long-Covid damage, tutoring costs and vaccination impairments, i.e. consequences that are not covered by the Vaccine Damage Act.

Since March this year, clubs have also been able to submit projects. Organizations that can apply for funding include “that offer services with the aim of advocating for the interests of those people who have suffered damage or impairments as a result of Covid-19 vaccinations or Covid-19 illnesses”. According to the information, 27 clubs have submitted applications so far.
