Is the descent into hell complete? After twenty years of uninterrupted decline, the performance of funds in euros, which constitutes the bulk of their investment in life insurance, is rebounding. A significant increase. The net management fee rate of Afer, the leading savers association (it has 753,000 members), climbs from 1.70 in 2020 and 2021 to 2.01% and that of Gaipare from 1.80 to 2 .20%.

Insurers and mutuals are doing even better: Garance has announced a rate of 2.80%, Matmut or MACSF, a rate of 2.50%, Maif, 2.10% (See table). Some insurers increase the rate according to the proportion of units of account (UA) held by the saver in his contract.
