With an interesting educational animation workshop for children of all ages and with a multidimensional event (Summer School) for the interconnection of gastronomy and tourism with predominant local raw materials, the collaboration bridge with the Messinians Terroirs and music from a young group based in Corfu, continues on Monday, August 26 the program of this year’s “Oinoxenia” festival. “Wine Designs”
Three-day (until Wednesday 28/8) animation workshop by the animator-illustrator Maria Loukia Mitrakou in a mixed section of 15-20 people (children and their companions).
The starting point is the urban landscape of the Aegean and the final destination is the viticultural landscape. How is wine created and how does it reach us from the vine? What is the process from the initial stage of the birth of the fruit to the final stage of its consumption? Based on this theme, a short animated film will be created that will be presented at the “Oinoxenia” Festival.

Everything that happens in a wine-growing state
A multi-faceted event connecting gastronomy and tourism (Summer School) that will include:
– Presentation of the program «The paths of Aegialia” by the Municipality of Aegialia and the company “Paths of Greece” using virtual reality applications.
– Evening of culinary culture. Presentation of recipes from products of the Aegialia-Kalavryton area curated by the great chef George Felemegashead chef of the Michelin-starred restaurant Hytra, which traces its origins to Dafni Kalavryton. The aim is to “bridge” the traditional with the modern culinary culture based on raw materials and dishes of the region.

– Highlighting products and farms in the area
-Bridges of wine dialogue and cooperation with Messinians Terroirs for the development of the Peloponnesian countryside. The charismatic terroirs of Messinia, with its special microclimate, its rich culinary tradition and its centuries-old cultural heritage, meet in the Oinoxeneia Politia, one of the most beautiful terroirs of Greece, which are the Aegialia Vineyards.
-Concert of the modern music academy Rock School Corfubased in Corfu and brought a breath of fresh air to the Corfu music scene. The program of the evening will include music pieces Rock – Blues – R’n’B – Funk – Reggae etc.
