Our magazine, specially published on the occasion of Sibca 2022, the low-carbon real estate fair, of which we are happy to be partners, had to make choices, often difficult, between the initiatives, programs and new techniques that abound in the hexagonal real estate world, so numerous and original are they: in offices, shops and homes, the expressions organic and geosourced materials are now common expressions; wood, hemp, raw earth are commonly used.
What a long way to go in a few years! We allow ourselves a recent memory: the arrival, on the initiative of Immoweek, of several (very) great real estate professionals at a Forum bois in Nancy.
The room was practically empty, showing the chasm still existing between the “stone men” (who were only seen there, like those of concrete…) and the other actors, particularly those of wood and forests. . This time is now over and we rejoice.
All the initiatives presented in this magazine will be followed by many others and, more than ever, we will give them the place they deserve. The entire real estate chain is now mobilized; like the great construction momentum of the 1960s, in other circumstances of course and with other objectives (even if we must not neglect that of production), it is possible today to build better. More sustainable, more respectful of the environment, geared towards recycling and mindful of land use, French real estate is undergoing an unprecedented transformation. Talking about it and promoting it will be our number one goal in the years to come. Like saluting the efforts of all the actors and actresses in the sector.
