Manufacturer of accessories and equipment Moment revealed yesterday its new lenses made for smartphones. The line, called T-Seriespromises to offer clarity and versatility for both iPhone and Android smartphone users.

It has been six years since the line M-Series hit the market, and the T-Series has what it takes to raise the bar. With a total of five glassesthe company offers notable improvements compared to the cameras of most smartphones.

For example, users can now take 2x zoom photos with better blur and resolution using the main sensor. Additionally, the anamorphic lenses add a touch of cinematic style, bringing flares for videos in multiple colors.

A feature that the company highlights is the new bayonet system that has been rethought, making lens removal even easier with a simple quarter-turn (or 90º) turn, which facilitates and speeds up changing items.

This design modification also ensures that the lenses keep up to date with the iOS and Android smartphones that will be released in the coming years, such as the “iPhones 15” and the “Samsung Galaxy S24”, for example.

The available T-Series lenses are:

Tele 58mm ($150/~R$750): Popular with users, it doubles as a portrait and zoom lens, offering 2x or 4x optical zoom, with a bokeh natural in well-lit environments.
Wide 18mm ($130/~R$650): ideal for capturing wider landscapes without the distortions common with ultra-wide cell phone lenses.
Fisheye 14mm ($120/~R$600): Provides the widest possible view on your phone, without the dark edges or vignetting, making it a more affordable alternative to a GoPro, for example.
Macro 10x (US$120/~R$600): perfect for close-ups extremes, it lets you capture tiny details much more clearly than the phone’s built-in macro lens.
Anamorphic 1.33x com flares blue or gold (US$150/~R$750 each): provide cinematic effects with flares rich and a 16:9 aspect ratio.
Anamorphic 1.55x com flares blue or gold (US$150/~R$750 each): provide cinematic effects with flares rich and a 16:9 aspect ratio.

For those who already own an M-Series lens, there’s nothing to worry regarding. The company said it plans to continue supporting the lineup by releasing docks compatible with the latest smartphones for a few years to come.

In addition, Moment is launching a 120-day trade-in program, allowing current customers to obtain credit towards T-Series lenses. All of them are already available for pre-order on the company’s official website; shipments are expected to begin on September 7th.
