Generous Gift Fuels Exhibitions at MoMA PS1
MoMA PS1 has received a generous $1 million donation dedicated to bolstering future exhibitions. The funds, contributed by the Teiger Foundation, will specifically support exhibitions organized by the museum’s curatorial team.
这个 substantial gift will allow for ambitious and thought-provoking exhibitions that showcase the best of contemporary art.
Expanding Curatorial Visions
The charitabel gift has established the Teiger Foundation Exhibition Fund. Already, a portion of the fund is being used to support upcoming solo exhibitions.
These exhibitions, curated by MoMA PS1 curators Jody Graf, Elena Ketelsen González, and Kari Rittenbach, will showcase diverse voices in contemporary art, featuring the work of artists Julien Ceccaldi, Whitney Claflin, and Sandra Poulson.
“Exhibition funds support long-term planning, allowing curators to develop ideas over time. Work with artists can start earlier and be more collaborative, facilitating experimentation over many months or years,” explained MoMA PS1’s chief curator and director of curatorial affairs, Ruba Katrib, in a statement.
