We only came a few centimeters from the drama. This weekend, two homes were the target of gunfire in Molenbeek. One of the houses was probably targeted by mistake. The bullets crossed the windows and the door fortunately without causing any casualties. The Last Hour reported these facts to you on Monday but the prosecution had not yet communicated. It’s done : “On June 10, 2023, around 10:20 p.m., the police services were called for suspicious actions in Molenbeek, rue Saint-Martin. Then they were called back around 1:38 a.m. for shooting at a building on that same street.

A couple of retirees are close to death in Molenbeek, thugs shoot in their window but are at the wrong target: “The family is in shock”

According to our information, the weapon of the shooter, who came to the scene on a scooter with another thug, jammed following a few shots. A video that has reached us also shows the two perpetrators of the attack and seems to confirm this thesis. We see an individual with a white helmet pointing a weapon in the direction of the facade but not succeeding in firing. After picking up what might be a casing, he tries to shoot once more without success before fleeing with his accomplice who was waiting for him on the scooter.

The Brussels public prosecutor’s office also confirms that, the following night, “on June 11, 2023, around 1:10 a.m., the police services were called for new shootings at a building located rue Saint-Martin. There were no injuries during any of these events. In the interest of the investigation no further comment will be made.”
