Molde FK (Norway)

Last season, Molde FK finished in fifth place in the Norwegian top league Eliteserien, and at the same time won the Norwegian Cup after a 1-0 victory against Bodø/Glimt in the final.

In total, the club has won the Norwegian league on five occasions (latest in 2022), and the domestic cup six times.

The 2024 season is just like the Allsvenskan in full swing and Molde is in fourth place after 18 rounds played.

The Norwegian team made it as late as last year’s season to the group stage in the Europa League, where they finished third in a group consisting of Bayer Leverkusen, Qarabag and BK Häcken.

IF Elfsborg and Molde FK met as late as summer 2022 in the qualifying game for the UEFA Conference League, in the second qualifying round. That time, the Norwegians won the double meet with a total of 6-2.

Tickets for the home game will be released on Friday 16 August for all supporters.

1904, on June 26, IF Elfsborg was formed by 19 boys in their early teens. The association’s name was then “Borås Football Team”.
In 1906, the association became a member of the National Sports Confederation and the name was changed at the same time to IF Elfsborg.
