Mohsen Ghazi, Syndicate of Syrian Artists

Months following the death of the head of the Syrian Artists Syndicate, Zuhair Ramadan, the members of the Central Council of the Syndicate elected actor Mohsen Ghazi as his successor, who is at the same time a deputy in the People’s Assembly until 2024.

The representative and member of the People’s Assembly for a second term, Mohsen Ghazi, became the eleventh captain (the first was the artist Duraid Laham) for artists in Syria following he was elected by the Central Council of the Syndicate to succeed the late Zuhair Ramadan.

Ghazi (62 years old), who graduated in acting 36 years ago, is present on the art scene between the two screens, and has several films with director Abdel Latif Abdel Hamid: What the listeners demand, Jackal Nights, The Last Breakfast, many series, including: Hulaku, Sham Sharaf , Birth of the Loin 2 and 3, Orchid, Judgment of Justice.

He gave ample time to the radio through thousands of episodes, and he has many humanitarian initiatives in helping his colleagues, including the artist Sabah Al-Jazaery, and he has a good union experience when he held the position of Vice President of the Artists Syndicate for 6 years (between: 2008 and 2014).
