His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him”, published a video on his account on “Instagram” yesterday, under the hashtag “#poetic flashes”. The video included invocations and soliloquy with God through poetic verses revolving around supplication to God and drawing close to Him.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said, in the video, which included pictures of the Kaaba on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha and the Muslims’ performance of the Hajj rituals on these blessed days:
“For you, I came seeking to go to Mecca with my conscience.. O Malik of the King, with mercy, you will meet me..
And the lamps of Makkah were a divine light.. it was as if angels surrounded the worshipers.”
