His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Science and Technology in Fujairah, stressed the role of higher education institutions in advancing the education sector in the country and promoting its goals, referring to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler Fujairah stressed the importance of paying attention to the requirements of the education system and developing it, in order to serve the country’s trends in this field globally.
This came during His Highness presiding over the periodic meeting of the University’s Board of Trustees in His Highness’s office at the Emiri Diwan, in the presence of His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Raqbani, Special Adviser to His Highness the Ruler of Fujairah, Vice Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, and members of the Board.
During the meeting, they reviewed the academic plan for the current academic year, and the new projects that the university is working on, in order to improve the educational process and enhance the university’s reputation at the level of higher education institutions in the country and the region. His Highness, the Crown Prince of Fujairah, praised the continuous efforts made by the Board of Trustees and the academic staff, with the aim of raising the level of university education and achieving the best desired outcomes through the plans and programs in force at the university, in order to serve the state’s vision and strategy in the higher education sector.
