Mohamed Fakhry, midfielder of the first football team at Al-Ahly Club, confirmed that the Al-Hilal match is fateful, and that Al-Ahly’s goal is to win, especially in light of the large public presence to make them happy and continue the march in the African Champions League.
Fakhry added during the press conference held today to talk regarding the match: “We wanted to increase the number of fans even more because Al-Ahly fans are our biggest supporter, and we will do our best to qualify and make these fans happy who support us all the time.”
He explained: For a while, we did not play in front of this expected mass audience tomorrow, and we expect that they will have a big role with us in qualifying, God willing.
Fakhri continued: “We promise the fans to play to the last minute and to make every effort throughout the match in order to qualify for the next round.”
Fakhry added: After the Sun Downs and Cameroonian matches, we closed this page completely, and the senior players held more than one session with us to emphasize this meaning, and the importance of the upcoming and decisive Al Hilal match in order to qualify us psychologically and mentally for this fateful confrontation.
He concluded: “We studied the Sudanese Al-Hilal team well with Marcel Koller, and we identified the strengths and weaknesses of the Sudanese team, and we await success from God in tomorrow’s match and the rise, God willing, to the next round to continue the march in the Champions League and make Al-Ahly fans happy.
