Mufti Abdul Qavi’s reaction came after the verdict in the murder case of model Qandeel Baloch was pronounced.
Talking to the media after the verdict, Mufti Abdul Qavi said that the court sentenced Waseem, who confessed to the crime, to life imprisonment, and acquitted the five people who were in the case with him on the basis of suspicion and wrote about me in particular: There is no evidence that Mufti Abdul Qavi assisted in the crime, so I honorably acquit him.”
In response to the question of challenging the decision, he said that there will be no need to challenge, the decision is clear, evidence is needed to challenge, Mufti Abdul Qavi is the lucky person against whom no one, including the police, has made any statement. Mufti Abdul Qavi did not say anything like that to anyone to take this action.

It is to be remembered that the case of murder of model Qandeel Baloch was heard in the session court of Multan. Judge Imran Shafi while pronouncing the verdict sentenced the main accused in the case and Qandeel Baloch’s brother Waseem to life imprisonment, while giving the benefit of doubt to Mufti Abdul Qavi and other named accused acquitted.
