Mobility: Excursions without exhaust fumes: “Only electric on the Gaisberg”

The second edition of the IMFS trade fair on the Salzburgring offered a very special preview of the summer excursion weekend.

The announcement on Thursday had already made waves: On Sunday, the popular Salzburg excursion destination of Gaisberg will be closed to motorized traffic from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Guggenthal. Mind you, the one with a combustion engine.

During this period, visitors are only permitted to drive up the 1287 meter high mountain with purely electrically powered vehicles. Hybrid cars are also not allowed.
