mobilezone launches FLEXRATE, interest-free, fee-free installment payment for iPhones

mobilezone is launching a possibility of installment payment without interest or costs, even without a mobile subscription. The FLEXRATE offer not only offers free financing, but also possibilities of choice with attractively priced options. Customers therefore benefit from total flexibility.
Until now, people who wanted free financing for their mobile phone had to buy a new mobile subscription or extend their existing subscription. mobilezone is now changing the game. With FLEXRATE, customers can pay for their iPhone in instalments without interest or fees, even if they don’t have a mobile subscription. This solution gives them total flexibility with attractively priced options. After 24 months, they have three options: switch to a new device, return theirs or keep it. This model is particularly attractive for customers who want to upgrade to the latest iPhone every two years. The “upgrade to a new device” option allows them to pay only 75% of the official retail price if they return their iPhone in good condition after 24 months and upgrade to a latest generation iPhone with FLEXRATE. Option 2 allows customers to return their undamaged iPhone to mobilezone without switching to another device. Those who want to keep their mobile phone will choose option 3 and pay the residual value of their device after 24 months. Mobilezone’s certified technicians check returned devices, repair them if necessary, and give them a second life as refurbished devices.
Roger Wassmer, CEO of mobilezone Switzerland, is convinced that this offer is in tune with the times: “More and more people want to be independent and be able to buy their smartphone separately from their mobile subscription, and this at the lowest price and with total flexibility. FLEXRATE allows us to offer all these advantages.”
FLEXRATE will be launched at the beginning of April. It will be possible to conclude a FLEXRATE installment payment offer for the iPhone series 14 in 20 mobilezone branches in the Zurich area. A credit card issued by a Swiss bank will be required for this purpose. It is planned to extend the offer to all mobilezone stores and to other models of mobile phones.
