Priscilla took to social media to seek help following her brother-in-law was threatened with a knife by two men near a chip shop at Verviers station at around 6 pm on Monday. The attackers were armed and had stolen his mobile phone, scooter, keys, and helmets, but he was fortunately unharmed. Shocked by the incident, Priscilla appealed for information on social media and asked people to share her post. Her family went to file a police complaint but found that the surveillance cameras did not capture the incident.

Shocked by the situation, Priscilla launched an appeal on social networks in search of information: “My brother-in-law was threatened with a knife this Monday around 6 p.m. at the chip shop at Verviers station by people of foreign types. His Booster, his keys, his helmets, his mobile phone were stolen by these people. If you saw or heard anything, tell me. Please share en masse,” she wrote.

The young Verviétois went to file a complaint with the police on Monday evening. As for the surveillance images, the family draws a blank: “We will go to the chip shop and the town ourselves to see for the cameras, if they agree to show us the images. But according to the police, the cameras are not fixed and did not film the scene…”
