Asuncion, IP Agency.- The Mobile House of Justice event was held in the indigenous community of Ñu Hovy, in the Repatriación district, Caaguazú department, with the aim of facilitating access to justice and basic state services.
It was organized by the Ministry of Justice, through the Directorate of Access to Justice, dependent on the Vice Ministry of Justice, in coordination with the General Directorate of Civil Registry.
The event was carried out in cooperation with the National Police Identification Department, the Ministry of Public Health, the Paraguayan Indigenous Institute and the National Service for Professional Promotion, as well as the Municipal Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents of the Municipality of Repatriation and the Directorate of Access to Justice of the Vice Ministry of Justice.
On this occasion, members of the community received health assistance through medical consultations and the delivery of medicines.
In addition, essential legal advice services were offered free of charge, as well as SNPP services, as well as birth registration, issuance of certificates and copies of birth certificates, issuance of indigenous ID cards, first-time identification and renewal, among others, thus guaranteeing access to identity and basic State services.
The Ministry of Justice, in its role as coordinator of the National Houses of Justice Program, promotes this service to support local and departmental governments in assisting the most vulnerable sectors of the community, so that all citizens can access the services and programs offered by the National Government on equal terms, strengthening the rule of law and social inclusion.
