Among the teams that could be active until the trade deadline, the Magic seems to have an interesting card to play. Why ? Because 1) the spine is taking shape and looking great and 2) the Florida franchise has good products to weigh in on.

Mo Bamba is already 24 years old.
It already seems a long time ago when the Magic counted to exist on its duo of freaks composed of… Jonathan Isaac and Mo Bamba. Today we don’t even know what Jonat looks like anymore, you have to ask the nurse, and Mo Bamba hasn’t played much more and keeps pushing back the deadline for his supposed domination. Good snippets last season, almost a double-double and two blocks on average, but the facts are there: Mo Bamba is stagnating and, worse (for him, not for the Magic), Orlando has seen the arrival of phenomena over the past two years who are able, for real this time, to support the franchise in the short/medium term. We are obviously talking about Paolo Banchero, but also about Franz Wagner, Jalen Suggs and Bol Bol, a welcome breath of fresh air not far from Disney.
Mo Bamba? Oh there have been a few breaths this season, against the Raptors, Houston or the Pacers, but overall on feels the large interior a little outdated by the new generation, yeah, we’re on the verge of giving it an old label. Next then? She is teased to us by friend Jake Fisher for Yahoo Sports, Jacques Ficheur telling us that, according to his sources, the Magic would be inclined to sell off his pivot against a first round draft.

Cold shower for Mohamed Fakaba Bamba, who would therefore no longer really be in the plans of the Mickey franchise, who therefore makes his NBA Leonardo Di Caprio by getting rid of his sweethearts as soon as they have exceeded the expiry date. Not very classy, but to use basketball terms again, let’s say that 4 and a half years after his draft, the number 6 of the 2018 vintage seems to have tormented his leaders enough.
Mo Bamba, but also Gary Harris or RJ Hampton and the irremovable Terrence Ross, here are so many names that could be moved in the coming weeks. And for the first on the list it’s starting to look like a missed act.
