After a long season, the Major League Soccer is hours away from entering the Decision Daythat is, the day on which final positions and confrontations are defined for the 2024 Season Playoffs. It is Saturday October 19 It will be the crucial date and At Olé we tell you everything you need to know.
What is Decision day?
MLS Decision Day is the last day of the MLS regular season. During this day, All teams in the league play their games simultaneously so that final standings, playoff qualifications, and the Supporters’ Shield on that day can be determined.
The main objective of this day is to ensure that all teams play at the same time, eliminating any advantage to know the results of other games before going out on the field.
Who is qualifying for the Playoffs?
The MLS is divided into 2 conferences: the Eastern and Western Conferences, and in each of the conferences the first 9 teams advance to the Playoffs. Below are those classified so far.
