Ranger Suárez in the 2022 season has had a solid season from the mound and, above all, has stood out from defense. The Creole streamer already accumulates 27 departures but is the great absentee from the ballots for the Gold Glove in the National League, in the pitchers section.
According to reporting by journalist Matt GelbSuárez fell short to enter the ballots by 3 1/3 innings of work. However, the Venezuelan is the leader among all pitchers in the DRS (Defensive Runs Saved) section.
