Today before the game once morest the Oakland Athletics, the Venezuelan José Altuve received a recognition for his nomination for the famed Roberto Clemente award.

The Roberto Clemente award is given to players who follow the philosophy of the former Padres player, which is to support and involve communities with the sports incentive of the ball.

The “AstroBoy” was selected by the Houston organization, a team where he lives, for his discipline and vision on and off the field. EThis action confirms the positive representation of Venezuelan culture.
