Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh MLA The key witness in the murdered case was shot dead by an unknown person. The person killed was Umesh Pal. Various CCTVs of the incident. Footage is available. The incident took place in Prayagraj on Friday. Umesh was the main witness in the murder case of Bahujan Samaj Party MLA Raju Pal. Raju Pal was killed in 2005.

An unknown person shot him when he got out of the back seat of the car in Prayagraj. His bodyguard was a police officer in the front seat. The assailant shot Umesh from behind the car. The police said that the group accompanying the assailant threw a bomb and due to this the people of the area ran away in panic.

Umesh Pal’s bodyguard tried to catch the assailant but failed. He was also shot. Umesh Pal, who was shot first, ran to an alley to escape, but the assailant came following him and shot him once more. Meanwhile, the bodyguard who tried to arrest the assailant was also shot.

After the incident, Umesh Pal and his bodyguards were admitted to the local hospital. Umesh Pal died during treatment. One of the bodyguards is in critical condition.

Bahujan Samaj Party MLA Raju Pal was murdered in 2005. The main accused in the case is Atiq Ahmad, who is currently in Gujarat jail. He is a former Lok Sabha MP.
