Mitsotakis in Famello: “Good riddance to your problems” – “We were dizzy by your pirouettes” he said to Androulakis

Kyriakos Mitsotakis launched a full attack on SYRIZA but also on PASOK on the occasion of what the head of the K.O of the official opposition Sokratis Famellos and then Nikos Androulakis said in his speech.

“Good riddance to your own problems,” said Kyriakos Mitsotakis to Sokratis Famellos, referring to what has emerged with the whereregardings of Stefanos Kasselakis.

“For the personal characterizations once morest me reproduced by SYRIZA, Mr. Famele, your own problems regarding the wherewithal of your leader, you will not hide them behind personal attacks, they have been looking many times for my wherewithal, good solutions for your problems. Since you spoke once more regarding the issues of the rule of law and the authoritarian face presented by the government, I cannot help but respond by recalling two statements regarding the events of your own days: a paracenter of justice was set up in the Maximos Palace, said the Minister of Justice during your days, Mr. Kouloglou said that it was a political decision to include Pikrammenos, etc. I am forced to come back to these issues to refresh your memory regarding your works and days, since you are concerned regarding the issues of the rule of law,” the prime minister emphasized.

We are dazzled by your pirouettes

Kyriakos Mitsotakis also referred to what the President of PASOK, Nikos Androulakis, said in his deposition in the Parliament and especially what he complained regarding serving interests.

“All this argumentation of yours around the serving of interests by this government, was adopted with pride by Mr. Androulakis. What do you tell us? That some people knew of a conspiracy scenario, had inside information that the government would legislate something that is in its pre-election program? Who did we surprise? Because you also referred to the Diamantopoulos law, it was indeed an important cut in the developments of higher education, it corrected the weaknesses of the law of Andreas Papandreou. Ms. Diamantopoulou supports this law. You also said that the media distorts your positions. Which position are you out of the 4?

And I have them here:

a) we will not stand in the way of the establishment of non-state universities as long as the bill is not at the expense of public

b) today we propose the Nordic model, it looks like a Nordic crossword to me, Finland made a major reform and offers 30% of graduates university places the rest in technical education

c) we will not vote for the non-state law because we want a clean solution and not commercialization

d) we agree with the establishment of non-state universities with the revision of article 16.

We are all so dazed we cannot follow you from your pirouettes and Ovidian transformations. By being so angry you send a message that your arguments are not solid.”

The prime minister also referred to Ukraine, speaking of the delayed condemnation of SYRIZA.

“Mr. Androulakis didn’t say a word regarding it, neither did your president,” he said.

And he continued: “You demand that Ukraine defend itself with carnations and roses. In this war there is an attacker and a defender. Universal support for Ukraine from Europe and Greece and we are proud of this position. It’s nice to say that we are at peace and represent love, but that’s where missiles fall. Europe’s decision to support Ukraine with defense material, in which everyone participates. In our foreign policy we do not want to be an exception. Yes, we stand on the side of the Ukrainian people, as well as on the side of the Greeks of Ukraine. It is not an indifferent country for which Hellenism has no historical imprint. That’s why I chose to go to Odessa because it is the cradle of Hellenism on the Black Sea. The event was talked regarding and indeed it was important. I was there for 7 hours but the people in Odessa live every day and we have to give them the opportunity to arm themselves and I am proud that we support them in this”.
