One lucky woman from Missouri she got the surprise of her life by stopping at a convenience store to do some shopping and walking out several hundred thousand dollars richer.
And it is that the woman, who to date has not been released her name, was on her way to a friend’s house when she stopped to do some quick shopping at a branch of the Munch-N-Pump store, which is located on state highway 53.
According to information provided by the Missouri Lottery, the lucky player decided to purchase multiple lottery tickets. One of these scratch-off tickets called ‘Hot 7s’ turned out to be awarded a grand prize of $777,777..
“I called my husband and I was crying. I was like, ‘This is not real! It can’t be real,’” the lucky woman said.
The state lottery said the woman plans to put the money into some investments, though it did not specify which ones.
In the ‘Hot 7s’ game you have to find three or more ‘7’ numbers to win the prize indicated on the ticket. The most money this game pays out is $777,777.
