Who is the crown for?
A total of sixty-eight candidates from all over the world competed for the title of Miss Supranational 2024. Among them was the representative of Poland, Angelika Jurkowianiec. At the beginning of the gala, each of the misses had the opportunity to greet the audience and briefly introduce herself.
Expert Panel
The hosts of the evening were Katarzyna Kołeczek, Nico Panagio and Aleksander Sikora. The expert panel included Ewa Wachowicz (Miss Polonia 1992 and host of the program “Ewa gotuje” on Polsat TV), Katarzyna Jonaczyk (three-time Last Woman Standing in Ninja Warrior Polska and world champion in OCR obstacle course running), Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen (2nd Runner-up of Miss Supranational 2022), Edyta Folwarska (author of novels for women and journalist), Robert Czepiel (official jeweler of Miss Supranational), Daria Marx (singer), Ivan Alvarez (Mister Supranational 2023), Andrea Aguilera (Miss Supranational 2023), Fezile Mkhize (Mister Supranational 2024) and Gerhard Parzutka von Lipiński (founder and CEO of the Miss Supranational organization).
“Lolita” raised the temperature
In the meantime, when the audience had the opportunity to meet the candidates, the musical star of the Miss Supranational 2024 gala – Alizee – appeared on stage. The French singer recalled her greatest hit “Moi… Lolita”, which was successful in many countries, including Poland.
In national costumes
The candidates for the crown presented themselves in creations containing elements referring to the culture and history of the country they represented. It was very colorful and diverse. The representative of Poland, Angelika Jurkowianiec, appeared in a spectacular white and red dress.
First verdict
The time has come for the first decisions. After an impressive show, all the candidates appeared on stage. From among them, the expert panel chose the TOP 25, although initially the TOP 24 was to be announced. However, it turned out that in the case of two candidates, the votes were evenly distributed. Angelika Jurkowianiec said goodbye to the competition at this stage.
More music
While waiting for the next show, it was time for music. First on stage was Alizee, who sang Madonna’s big hit “La Isla Bonita”. A moment later Mateusz Ziółko performed the song “Lose Control” by Teddy Swims.
In swimsuits
Miss Supranational 2024 candidates took over the stage once more, this time in swimsuits. It was definitely the hottest show of the evening!
Getting closer to the crown
Time for the next eliminations. 25 candidates appeared on stage in white outfits. The expert panel indicated twelve who might still count on the Miss Supranational 2024 crown. The hosts asked each of them to answer a question.
In evening wear
Twelve candidates presented themselves in evening gowns. Class, chic, elegance – this is how the whole thing can be summed up. The show was accompanied by a performance by Mateusz Ziółko, who sang the song “All of Me” by John Legend.
Top five
Time was running out, which meant more eliminations. This time we got to know the TOP 5. This group included Miss from Brazil, Curacao, Czech Republic, Indonesia and the United States. The ladies had the opportunity to face the question once more, this time regarding what message they would send to their childhood selves.
Grand final
All the participants of the Miss Supranational final gala gathered on the stage of the Amphitheatre of Strzelecki Park. They were accompanied by Daria Marx, who sang the song “Skyscraper” by Demi Lovato. Before we knew the answer to the most important question of the evening, it was time to award the continental titles: Africa – Bryoni Govender (South Africa), America – Andrea Saenz (Mexico), Asia and Oceania – Alethea Ambrosio (Philippines), Caribbean – Fiorella Medina (Puerto Rico), Europe – Victoria Larsen (Denmark). A moment later, everything became clear!
