Less than a year after her appearance with Egyptian artist Mohamed Ramadan, Miss India Urvashi Rautella sparked widespread controversy with her statements, about receiving an offer to marry an Egyptian singer.

Cultural difference Urvashi Rautella said in an interview when the announcer asked her if she had received an embarrassing marriage proposal: “Yes, once from an Egyptian singer.”

Rautella indicated that she had to reject the Egyptian singer’s offer of marriage; Because of the “cultural difference”.

He is married twice and added that he is already married and has two wives and four children, while she did not mention the name of the Egyptian artist, and everyone suggested that he was Muhammad Ramadan.

And Miss India continued in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, about the artist who applied to her: “I have dealt with many proposals. But there was one that came from someone, which could have led to a lot of cultural differences.”

And she added: “One has to think about his family. Especially women have to think about that in their lives because it’s not easy.”

When Rautella was asked if this person was an Egyptian singer Urvashi met in Dubai, she replied: “Yes, but this person already has two wives and four children.”

I do not want a broken family, and she continued about the reasons for her refusal: “I do not want a broken family, and I do not know the meaning of divorce…because I believe that the family must always stay together because this is where the fun lies.”

In my family no one has divorced yet, I don’t think I saw divorce from where I came from. She concluded: “I cannot make any such decision. Moreover, I can never be far from my family.. and I can never accept a distant person, so that I am here and he is there.”

Mohamed Ramadan and Rautella previously collaborated on the song “Versace”, and the duo performed a singing and dancing show during the 2021 Filmfare Middle East Achivers Night, which was held for the first time in Dubai.
